Delicious Easy Meatballs!

Gluten Free Meatballs

Not sure what to make for dinner? These gluten free meatballs are a must try!

Whenever I go to other peoples houses to eat and they serve meatballs, I struggle with finding someone who will serve this dish either without flour or with healthy breadcrumbs like ours. Meatballs on their own are an easy and complete dish, this recipe allows them to shine the way they were supposed to in a healthy and gluten free environment.

If you are having guests you can always double the recipe, and to take it up a notch you can make your own marinara sauce from scratch, like my dad always does!

Additionally if you are missing and craving spaghetti with this dish, I recommend either using a vegetable based spaghetti or using a vegetable spiralizer and then boiling that!

This recipe works with ground beef, chicken, veal, turkey, and vegan versions of ground beef!

Although I recommend the Cooper's Crumbs Savory Italian Blend to be used in this recipe, any of our flavors will bring this dish to the next level!

Ingredients

  • 1-2 lbs of ground beef
  • 1 Cup Cooper's Crumbs Savory Italian Blend
  • 1/2 an onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of crushed garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 jar of your favorite Marinara Sauce
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F
2. Mix the ground beef, almond crumbs, onion, crushed garlic and egg.
3. Roll the meat into balls (1 inch)
4. Lightly coat a skillet with olive. Once heated, add your meatballs and cook on all sides until your meatballs develop a crust.
5. In a 9x11 pan add half a jar of marinara sauce. Place the meatballs into the pan and coat the top with the rest of the marinara sauce.
6. Place in the oven for 15 minutes.
